The Trading Houses of the Frontierswoman's League act as banks and storage centres.
By turning in a League-approved commodity a person can open an account measured in the amount of the substance at the quality that they deposited. This account can either be tied to a deposit chit or to their League member account.
You can also buy or sell goods to and from the Trading House for the House's current going rate in standard credits. This is generally only an option for commodities, but individual Houses will have other offers according to their circumstances.
Trading houses provide the full array of standard contracts and keep the records of all the contracts signed there. They also provide mediation for civil matters, anything criminal is referred to the Sheriffs.
Trading houses are also the local repositories of vital records: births, marriages, divorces, and deaths. There is no cost for recording and keeping these records.
